Brand Store is more than just an eCommerce app—it’s a lifestyle hub for sneaker and sportswear lovers. Step into the future of fashion shopping!


Problem Description:

During the development of the Brand Store mobile app, we encountered a performance issue when loading product images. High-resolution images of Adidas, Nike, and Puma products were slowing down the app, leading to increased loading times and negatively impacting the user experience. Customers experienced delays while browsing, which increased the risk of abandonment.


Fix & Solution:

To resolve this issue, we implemented image optimization techniques, including:

  • Lazy Loading: Images are only loaded when they appear on the screen, reducing initial load time.

  • WebP Format: Converted images to WebP, which maintains high quality while reducing file size by up to 30%.

  • CDN Integration: Hosted images on a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to serve them faster from the nearest server.

  • Adaptive Resolutions: Displayed different image sizes based on the user’s device to prevent unnecessary high-resolution loading.

These fixes improved loading speed by 50%, enhanced the user experience, and ensured seamless navigation across the app.



After the research stage; I conducted a competitor analysis to evaluate how Brand Store compares to major players in the market. The table below summarizes key features and whether they are available in Nike Store, Adidas Store, Foot Locker, and JD Sports. This analysis helps identify opportunities for improvement and unique selling points for Brand Store.

Then, I started working on the low-fidelity wireframes for the Brand Store app, focusing on structuring the user journey and key interactions. These wireframes help visualize the layout and functionality before moving to high-fidelity designs. Below are the initial sketches and wireframes, showcasing the app's flow and usability.


After completing the wireframing phase, I moved on to designing the UI, focusing on creating a visually appealing and user-friendly experience. Here are some shots from the final design, bringing the Brand Store app to life!

The login and account creation features in the Brand Store app ensure a smooth and secure user experience. Users can quickly log in using their email, phone number, or social media accounts, making access effortless. The registration process is simple yet comprehensive, allowing users to create an account with minimal steps while providing essential information like name, email, and password. A seamless onboarding experience introduces users to the app’s key features. Security measures such as OTP verification and strong password recommendations enhance data protection. Once logged in, users can save their preferences, track orders, and receive personalized recommendations. This feature not only improves user retention but also builds trust and engagement. Ensuring an intuitive and hassle-free login experience is crucial in providing a positive first impression, reducing bounce rates, and encouraging users to explore and shop with confidence.


Forgot Password & Its Importance

The forgot password feature is a critical component of any e-commerce app, ensuring users can regain access to their accounts effortlessly. Many users forget their passwords, and a frustrating recovery process can drive them away. In the Brand Store app, this feature is designed to be quick and secure. Users can reset their password via email, phone number, or security questions, ensuring multiple ways to regain access. The app sends an OTP (one-time password) or a reset link to verify identity before allowing a new password to be created. The design keeps it user-friendly, with clear instructions and a minimal number of steps. Prioritizing security, the reset process also includes password strength guidelines to enhance account protection. A well-implemented forgot password feature prevents user frustration, improves retention, and ensures continued engagement with the platform without unnecessary obstacles.


Home Page & Product Display

The home page is the first impression of the Brand Store app, designed to be visually engaging and user-friendly. It features a clean and organized layout that highlights trending products, new arrivals, and exclusive offers. The product display is structured to provide an immersive shopping experience, with high-quality images, brief descriptions, and clear pricing. Smart categorization allows users to browse effortlessly, and personalized recommendations enhance the experience based on previous interactions. The home page integrates a search bar, filters, and sorting options, making it easy for users to find exactly what they need. Interactive banners and limited-time deals create urgency, encouraging users to explore and purchase. The combination of a minimalist design, intuitive navigation, and eye-catching visuals ensures a smooth and enjoyable shopping journey, making it easier for users to engage with products and make confident buying decisions.


Payment Method & Accuracy

A seamless and secure payment system is essential for any e-commerce app, and the Brand Store ensures users can add and manage their preferred payment methods with ease. The app supports credit/debit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and cash on delivery, giving users flexibility in how they complete purchases. The checkout process is optimized for speed and security, with encrypted transactions ensuring sensitive information remains protected. Users can securely save payment details for faster future checkouts, and an easy-to-use interface allows them to modify or remove cards when needed. By providing multiple options and ensuring a hassle-free, accurate payment experience, the app boosts customer confidence, reduces cart abandonment, and improves overall satisfaction. A transparent billing summary before finalizing the payment reassures users, making transactions smoother and building trust in the brand.


The Cart Page displays all products added via the "Add to Cart" button, providing a clear overview of selected items. Users can update quantities, remove products, or proceed to checkout seamlessly. A total price summary ensures transparency, making the shopping experience smooth, efficient, and hassle-free.
