As part of the Ministry of Health (MOH) website redesign, we conducted in-depth user research to ensure the new platform meets the diverse needs of its users. Our goal was to create a user-centered design that enhances accessibility, streamlines navigation, and improves the overall experience for all users, including citizens, healthcare professionals, and administrators. By gathering direct feedback and insights, we were able to identify key pain points and areas for improvement, allowing us to tailor the design to better serve the Saudi Arabian community and healthcare system.
The following are the key results of the user research conducted for the MOH website redesign. These findings were gathered through various methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, providing valuable insights into user needs, preferences, and challenges. The results will guide the design process, ensuring the final product aligns with user expectations and enhances the overall user experience.





Competitive Analysis and Persona for MOH Website Redesign
As part of the redesign for the Ministry of Health (MOH) website, we conducted a competitive analysis to better understand how other government and healthcare-related websites approach user experience, design, and accessibility. By examining competitor platforms, we identified best practices in usability, mobile optimization, and the presentation of essential health information. This analysis highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of other websites, providing valuable insights for differentiating the MOH site in terms of user needs and experience.

In addition, we developed a persona to represent the typical users of the MOH website. This persona is based on real user data and helps guide design decisions by focusing on the needs, behaviors, and goals of users. For example, we identified key personas like a health-conscious citizen, medical professionals, and government health officials, each with distinct needs such as easy access to health guidelines, hospital information, and real-time health updates. By understanding these personas, we can create a more tailored, user-friendly experience for the MOH website.

Low-fidelity wireframes and prototype:
For the MOH website redesign, we first created a low-fidelity wireframe (low-fid) to outline the basic layout and structure, focusing on user flow and content organization without visual details. This step helped define the site’s core features and ensured an intuitive user experience. After finalizing the wireframe, we developed an interactive prototype to simulate the user journey.
